Pre-Drywall Inspection
Once the walls go up, you can't see what's behind them. Unless you look first.
The Last Chance to See Inside Your Walls
A pre-drywall inspection happens at the most critical point in new construction: after framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC are roughed in, but before drywall covers everything up.
This is your final opportunity to verify that these essential systems are installed correctly. Once the drywall goes up, problems become expensive to fix and difficult to access.
David’s construction background, going back to childhood when he helped his grandfather install water lines, gives him a unique eye for what proper installation should look like at this stage.

Your home is truly a system that all works together. We examine how these systems interact and support each other.
Issues We Commonly Find
Electrical Problems
Improperly secured outlets, missing ground wires, or circuits that don't match the plan.
Plumbing Issues
Drain lines with insufficient slope, supply lines without proper support, or rough-ins in wrong locations
Framing Concerns
Missing blocking, improper joist spacing, or structural elements that don't match engineering plans.
Coordinating with Your Builder
Pre-drywall inspections require precise timing. We work directly with your builder’s schedule to inspect at exactly the right moment, when rough-in work is complete but before drywall installation begins.
We take our time and don’t rush through your inspection to get to the next one. This thoroughness often means we find issues that could become major problems once they’re hidden behind walls.
Most builders appreciate our approach because catching issues now prevents callbacks and warranty claims later. We communicate findings professionally and work with your builder to ensure corrections happen before the project moves forward.
Timeline: Typically 2-3 hours for the inspection, with same-day digital report including photos and specific recommendations.
Don't Miss Your Window
Pre-drywall inspections are time-sensitive. Once those walls go up, it's too late.
